Kelly A. Curtius is an associate attorney in the Long Beach area office. Her practice focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurers, and third-party administrators. She puts the needs of her clients first and is dedicated to securing the most time and cost-effective results for her clients.
She was admitted to the State Bar of California and the Central District of California in 2014. Since that time, she has practiced in the areas of product liability and toxic tort litigation, as well as workers’ compensation defense. Immediately prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked as a workers’ compensation defense attorney throughout California.
Kelly graduated cum laude from UCLA, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Policy. She then obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from Pepperdine University School of Law.
Kelly also attended the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Cross-Cultural Negotiation and obtained certifications in Mediation, Negotiation, and Arbitration.
