Harmony G. Kessler is an associate attorney in the Sacramento area office. Her practice focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurers, and third-party administrators. As part of her strong work ethic, Harmony is committed to fulfilling customer expectations.
Harmony was admitted to the California State Bar in 2012. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked as an associate for a civil litigation firm defending public entities and healthcare organizations in employment matters. She also served as counsel for minors in the dependency system. Before entering law school, Harmony was elected to a four-year term on the City Council of Arcata, California, where she served as Mayor in 2006.
Harmony graduated from Humboldt State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She attended Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, where she was on Law Review, served as the President of the Women’s Law Association and was twice recognized by the California Bar Foundation with scholarships for her work on public interest law. She also served as the Chief Law Clerk at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the criminal division and as Law Clerk at a Native American civil law firm in Marin County.
