Cameron Huey is an associate attorney in the Sacramento area office. He focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, carriers, and third-party administrators. Cameron is proactive, efficient and focuses on exceeding client expectations.
Cameron was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2014 and the State Bar of Arizona in 2008. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, Cameron worked as an applicant attorney for three years, where he gained a reputation amongst the workers’ compensation community of not only working up his cases but being an aggressive case-closer. Having experience as an applicant attorney has given Cameron insight into negotiations, client expectations and case management.
Prior to practicing in workers’ compensation, Cameron practiced immigration law and criminal defense for a boutique firm in Oakland, California. Cameron also worked as a Deputy County Attorney (prosecutor) with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
Cameron graduated from the University of California, Berkeley where he majored in Political Science. He then obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Law where he served as Chapter President of the Federalist Society, Associate Editor of the Freedom Center Journal, Chief Justice of the University of Cincinnati Student Court and Co-Chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA).
