Jerry Johnson is an associate attorney in the East Bay area office. He focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, carriers, and third-party administrators. Jerry believes in the primary importance of proactive communication with his clients and a relentless focus on resolving cases in a cost-effective manner.
Jerry was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2009. He is also admitted to practice before all federal courts in the Northern and Eastern Districts of California, and is an accredited attorney with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, Jerry worked for more than a decade as a risk manager for public and private employers, including the Berkeley and Oakland Unified School Districts, and the Contra Costa Water District.
Following a three year tour of duty as an infantryman in the United States Army, Jerry graduated from the University of Phoenix, where he majored in Business Administration. He then obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law.
