Payam Mahram is an associate attorney in the Van Nuys area office. He focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, carriers, and third-party administrators. Payam values strong communication and being a team player.
He was admitted to the State Bar of California, the Federal District Courts, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal in 2009. Payam started his legal career in complex civil litigation, tackling issues such as wrongful foreclosures and bad faith insurance claims.
Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, he also worked as a litigation specialist, helping develop defense themes and strategies in several prominent class actions and fraud cases involving discrimination and white collar crime.
Payam graduated from UCLA, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2004. He obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 2007.
