Michael J. Roe is an associate attorney in the Sacramento area office. He brings a relentless focus to the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurers and third-party administrators. Mike prides himself in being available to clients at a moment’s notice, as well as accurately valuing cases early in file handling, and convincing opposing counsel that an early resolution of the case is beneficial for their client. To that end, he has successfully obtained numerous Compromise and Release settlements in which the applicant agreed there was no industrial injury.
Mike was admitted to the California State Bar in 2012. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, he worked with a workers’ compensation defense firm in Sacramento as a hearing representative, specializing in walk-through settlements throughout Northern California. Mike graduated from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. He attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2008. While at Thomas Jefferson, Mike participated in the Student Bar Association as the 2L class representative, and received his law student certification.
