Christopher M. Ortega is an associate attorney in the Orange office. He is focused on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurers, and third-party administrators. Christopher strongly believes in providing outstanding client service from start to finish and focuses on successfully resolving claims in the most time and cost-effective manner.
He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2017. Prior to joining Albert & Mackenzie, he taught at Glendale Unified School District and was a volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps-Nicaragua.
Christopher graduated from Vanguard University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in History/Political-Science, and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Education. He then obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School with a concentration in Labor and Employment Law. During law school, Christopher was Managing Editor of the ABA Journal of Labor & Employment Law and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Jeannice Reding among other legal internships.
