Laura Gale Simpson is a senior associate attorney in the Roseville area office. She focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, carriers, and third-party administrators. Laura’s approach to defense is to aggressively move cases toward resolution in the most cost-effective manner.
Laura was admitted to the State Bar of California and also is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts. Her practice initially focused on civil litigation in a variety of areas including tort defense, bad faith and insurance coverage, real estate, commercial disputes and employment law. She then concentrated her practice in workers’ compensation defense, including defense of 132a and serious and willful claims. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked as a workers’ compensation defense attorney throughout California.
Laura graduated from Rutgers University with highest honors and pursued an independent major comprised of Economics, Political Science and Urban Planning as well as a pre-med curriculum prior to selecting an Independent Major. She then obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.
