Vanessa Spencer is an attorney in the East Bay area office. She specializes in defending worker’s compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurers, and TPA’s. Vanessa is dedicated to moving cases to closure by listening to her client’s needs and creating a joint plan of action to meet those needs. She is effective at finding creative resolution with co-defendants, pro-per applicants, applicant’s attorneys and lien claimants at all different stages of a litigated Worker’s Compensation Claim.
Vanessa was admitted to the California Bar in 2011. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked at Hanna & Brophy in Oakland, CA and Grancell Stander, Reubens, Thomas and Kinsey in Novato, CA. She earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Sonoma State University in Sociology, cum laude. While at Loyola Law School, she was on the board of La Raza de Loyola and the Public Interest Legal Foundation. She also clerked at California Teacher’s Association’s Legal Department.
Vanessa attempts to keep up with her husband, 3 children, 3 dogs, and 2 cats; sometimes, it feels impossible!
