Brandon Powell

Senior Associate Attorney

WCAB Venues Covered:Pomona, Riverside, San Bernardino

Brandon Powell is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Inland Empire office and is a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law. He focuses on responsive client communication and constantly strives to successfully resolve cases in the most cost-effective manner.

Throughout Brandon’s workers’ compensation career, he has successfully obtained several Take Nothings and procured two zero-dollar Compromise & Release settlements. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, he worked as a workers’ compensation defense Attorney throughout California.

Brandon grew up in Chino, California. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and playing board games. After completing the SoCal 6-pack of Peaks challenge, he plans to take on sections of the John Muir trail in Yosemite and portions of the Pacific Crest Trail. Brandon also began flight training to earn his private pilot’s license – a long-time dream of his and number one goal on his bucket list.

Brandon was inspired to pursue a career as an attorney after assisting a friend through a difficult time in his life. If given the opportunity (and a time machine), Brandon would have sought the mentorship of Winston Churchill. Three words to describe Brandon are calm, pragmatic, and present.

Brandon’s favorite dish is a homemade oxtail ragu, which reminds him of his Sicilian grandmother’s traditional pasta sauce. His personal motto is “Dum Spiro Spero.” If Brandon’s life had a theme song, it would be “The Litter and the Leaves” by Enter the Haggis.
