Heather A. Benton is an associate attorney with the Encino office. She focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, carriers, and third-party administrators. Heather takes a proactive approach to her cases with the goal to resolve claims in the most cost-efficient manner. Her communication with clients ensures that they feel confident and informed about the workers’ compensation process.
Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked as a workers’ compensation defense attorney for State Compensation Insurance Fund.
Heather was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2011. Heather graduated from California State University, Long Beach in Long Beach, California in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. She then obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. in 2011. While in law school, Heather was the Career Development Coordinator for the Mid-Atlantic Black Law Students Association. She also served as director of the internal writing competition and was a recipient of the Silver Key Award to young lawyers by the American Bar Association. Heather is also actively involved in her community.
