Rochelle Higgins recently joined Albert and Mackenzie in 2019 as an Associate Attorney where she focuses on the defense of worker’s compensation claims. Rochelle prides herself in being a zealous advocate and believes in the importance of client communication.
Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, Rochelle worked as a law clerk for the Orange County Public Defender’s office and the Office of General Counsel of California State University where she conducted an extensive amount of legal research, writing and trial preparation. She also worked as judicial extern for the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson at the United States District Court, Central District of California.
Rochelle received her B.A. in Communication Studies from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School where she served as a Dean’s Fellow, Writing Fellow, Student Bar Association Vice President, as well as a Senior Advocate for the Trial Advocacy Honors Program. In 2017, she competed in the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice (CACJ) National Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition where her team won first place. Rochelle earned the “George W. Porter Award” for Best Advocate.
