Aurora Lopez is an Associate Attorney in the San Diego area office. She focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, carriers, and third-party administrators. She strongly believes in the importance of client communication and she focuses on obtaining cost-effective resolutions with an emphasis in early settlement.
Aurora was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2018. Since then, Aurora was employed as an in-house workers’ compensation defense attorney for a prominent Fortune 500 insurance carrier. Aurora also practiced employment law and defended employers against an array of employment-related claims, including Labor Code section 132(a), sexual harassment, gender and disability discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes, among others.
In 2014, Aurora graduated from the University of California, San Diego, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Business. She then graduated from Loyola Law School in 2018, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and received First Honors in Advanced Legal Research and Securities Regulation.
