Amy Marks is an associate attorney in the Sacramento area office. She focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. Amy strongly believes in the importance of advocating for each client’s unique needs through timely communication and expediently resolving cases with high efficacy in a cost effective manner.
Amy was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2017. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked in house at Clovis Community Medical Center’s legal department and as a workers’ compensation defense attorney throughout California. Amy also worked in areas of criminal defense and medical malpractice and helped write an article about healthcare cyber vulnerability which was published in 2015 and presented at the 59th International Association of Lawyers Congress.
Amy graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Fresno with a B.S. degree in criminology. She earned her J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as an editor on the San Diego Journal of Climate & Energy Law.
