Peter Steinau is a Supervising Attorney in the Encino office. He is committed to promptly responding to client questions and enjoys working through challenges with clients to find efficient and favorable paths to a resolution of a claim.

Throughout Peter’s workers’ compensation career, he has favorably obtained several Take Nothing decisions, dismissals for lack of coverage, and Orders Granting Petitions for Removal and Reconsideration. Peter also successfully cross-examined PQMEs and AMEs, litigated a wide range of claim types, and saved clients’ significant sums of money with early resolutions and favorable settlement outcomes.

Peter grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He enjoys reading, writing, going to the beach or a park with his family, taking his son for rides on his scooter, and designing board games. Peter is currently working on publishing an abstract strategy game that he created, where players battle with the 12 Olympian Gods from Greek Mythology.

Peter’s favorite food is steak and potatoes. As for sports, Peter likes to play tennis, golf, and ski/waterski. He is a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals.

Three words to describe Peter are passionate, creative, and sincere. His motto in life is “Sursum ad Summem” or “Rise to the Highest”. Fun fact: Peter lived in Israel for 6 months after college working for the Israel Government Fellowship with the Ministry of Finance.
