Carl Nestler is an Associate Attorney in the Long Beach area office. Carl is dedicated to delivering optimal service, making the legal process easily understandable and ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, Carl served as a Judicial Extern at the United States Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges in San Francisco. During this time, he honed his skills in crafting orders that adjudicated compensation and disability benefits for private military contractors operating in Iraq under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act. This experience provided Carl the unique opportunity of weighing the credibility of evidence on both sides of a claim through the eyes of a judge.
In 2018, Carl earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego. He then obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from Golden Gate University, School of Law in 2023.
Carl was born in San Francisco, California. When it comes to sports, you’ll find Carl cheering for the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants, and San Francisco 49ers. In literature, Hyperion by Dan Simmons tops his list, showcasing his interest in science fiction.
