Judy Barrett is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Orange office and is a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation. She strongly believes in the importance of client communication and focus on successful resolution of cases in the most expedient and cost-effective manner.
Judy was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1988, and the State Bar of Arizona in 1996. She is also admitted to the Federal District Court of California, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Prior to her tenure at Albert & Mackenzie, Judy honed her skills as a workers’ compensation defense attorney across California, successfully closing numerous cases and securing early settlements.
Judy grew up in Southern California. Her volunteer work with the Palm Springs Police Department inspired her to pursue a career in law. Judy also served as a volunteer with the City of Orange’s Certified Emergency Response Team (CERT), supporting community emergency preparedness and response efforts. Integral to her role is the art of problem-solving – a skill Judy leverages to navigate complex cases and deliver optimal outcomes for clients.
Her interests span the realms of AI, computers, target practice, painting, and baking. Fun fact: Judy once flew the Goodyear Blimp.
