Amanda Mattocks is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Long Beach area office. She strongly believes in swift resolutions and building relationships with clients.
Since 2004, her practice has focused on workers’ compensation defense litigation. Amanda began her career in Labor and Employment law, focusing on workers’ compensation defense. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked as a Senior
in-house attorney for a large insurance company, which allowed her an inside perspective of claims handling processes. Throughout her career, Amanda has acquired several Take Nothing findings and conducted numerous cross-examinations that have resulted in a significant decrease in exposure to clients.
Amanda grew up in Alberta, Canada. As someone who enjoys resolving conflicts, pursuing a career in law was a natural fit for Amanda. Her favorite aspect of her role is negotiating and obtaining successful results for her clients.
Amanda’s hobbies include boxing/kickboxing. If there were three words to describe her, it would be confident, compassionate, and kind. Amanda lives by the phrase, “Always push forward.”
As for her favorite place in the world, Amanda loves Negril, Jamaica. Fun fact: She is a citizen of two countries and is working on gaining her third citizenship.
