Amanda Mattocks is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Long Beach area office. She focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, carriers, and third-party administrators. Amanda strongly believes in the importance of client communication and always focuses on trying to successfully resolve cases in the most cost-effective manner.
She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2004. Since that time, her practice has focused on workers’ compensation defense litigation. She has acquired several Take Nothing findings and conducted numerous cross-examinations that have resulted in a significant decrease in exposure to clients. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked as a Senior in-house attorney for a large insurance company, which allowed her an inside view of their claims handling processes. Prior to that, her experience was in Labor and Employment law, focusing on workers’ compensation defense.
