Beena Sandhu is a Senior Managing Partner based out of Albert and Mackenzie’s Central Coast office. For twelve years, she has focused on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurers, and third-party administrators.

Beena firmly believes in resolving claims quickly by proactively engaging applicants’ counsel at an early stage and communicating thoroughly until the matter is resolved to the client’s satisfaction. Throughout her workers’ compensation career, Beena has obtained multiple Take Nothings. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked for a small workers’ compensation defense firm in the San Fernando Valley.

Fluent in Malayalam, Beena grew up in Kerala, India – one of her favorite places in the world, alongside Cambodia. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her children, fishing, gardening, and eating. Her favorite food is sushi and her go-to order from Starbucks is a tall Pike.

When it comes to sports, Beena is rooting for the Los Angeles Lakers. She cycles between television shows, Jerry Seinfeld, Friends, I Love Lucy, and Golden Girls. Criminal shows like Matlock and Law and Order inspired Beena to pursue a career as an attorney.

Three words to describe Beena are loyal, hardworking, and caring. Her ultimate bucket list comprises of running a marathon and traveling the world. Beena lives by the words, “One day at a time.”
