Calypso Rees is a Senior Associate Attorney in the San Diego office. She strongly believes in building a strong relationship with the client to better achieve thorough handling of a file.
During her time at the University of La Verne School of Law, Calypso served as the Chief Executive Editor of Law Review and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Calypso was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2018. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked as a workers’ compensation applicant attorney in southern California.
Calypso grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Her passion for the legal profession stems from her ability to think critically and her desire to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds. The ever-evolving nature of law ensures that she is constantly challenged and engaged, ensuring that she is never bored. One of the most fulfilling aspects of her role as an attorney is the collaborative effort required to successfully navigate and bring a claim to resolution.
Calypso embraces the philosophy that “Life is what you make it,” reflecting her optimistic and proactive approach to both her personal and professional endeavors. As for her interests, she enjoys thrifting and ice skating. If given the opportunity to acquire a new skill, it would be to speak multiple languages.
