Celena Shamburg is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Orange County office. Her focus is on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurers, and third parties. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she was employed as a workers’ compensation defense Attorney for three years.
Celena grew up in southern California. In her spare time, she enjoys taking her daughter to play soccer and hiking. Her ideal weekend is spending time at home with her two children, husband, and eleven-year-old cocker spaniel.
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens is one of Celena’s favorite novels. When it comes to sports, Celena is rooting for the Denver Broncos and New York Yankees. As for her hidden talent, she is fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational French.
Three words to describe Celena are persistent, organized, and professional. One day she would like to take her children and husband to various countries in Europe. Fun fact: Celena fenced in college and studied abroad in Aix en Provence, France and Nanjing, China.
