Chante Mezzera is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Long Beach office. As a true Virgo, Chante takes a no-nonsense approach to claims handling. She strongly believes in the importance of being highly organized and conscientious to ensure efficient and favorable results for her clients.
Chante was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2010 and briefly worked as a social security disability attorney. Thereafter, her practice has focused on all aspects of workers’ compensation defense. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked as a defense attorney for both small and large firms and as an in-house counsel for an insurance carrier. Throughout Chante’s career, she has acquired favorable settlements and cross-examinations for her clients. Amongst her successes, Chante brought a sulfuric acid burn case out of a life pension and significantly reduced the original award of 54% WPI to a 24% WPI.
Chante was born and raised in California. At the age of 12, Chante was certain she wanted to become a lawyer. But had that not come to be, she might have been a counselor or a professional organizer.
Three words to describe Chante are outgoing, driven, and organized. Her favorite television show of all time is Friends, and her favorite novel is Becoming by Michelle Obama. If she had to choose one album to take to a deserted island, it would be The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
In her free time, Chante enjoys doing yoga, going to Target, watching bad reality television, and spending time with her husband and their wonderfully spirited daughter.
