James Lepadat is an Associate Attorney in the San Diego office. Well-experienced in the industry, James understands that all claims are not created equal. As such, you can expect James to implement the most effective defense to move a case toward resolution.
Since James’ admittance to the State Bar of California in 2017, his practice has focused primarily on litigation and workers’ compensation defense. Throughout his workers’ compensation defense career, James has successfully obtained several “Take Nothing” findings. His negotiation and representation skills have also earned clients’ favorable outcomes, including having persuaded a well-respected orthopedist to significantly reduce a WPI award, and ultimately received a PD reduction of over $100,000.
James grew up in Sacramento, California. Throughout James’ teenage years, he observed injustices imposed on those less fortunate, which motivated him to pursue a career in law. The ability to help businesses and employers solve their problems is what he enjoys most about his job.
In his free time, James enjoys working out, doing yoga, longboarding, and going to the beach. His favorite food is the California burrito from La Perla Cocina Mexicana. If he had to choose a favorite film, it would be The Lives of Others, noting it’s everything a movie should be!
James lives by the phrase, “Be kind, especially when it’s hard.”
