Katlyn Oliver is an Associate Attorney in the Orange County office. She believes in an aggressive approach to litigation while preserving the client’s preference for an efficient, cost-effective resolution for their cases.
Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, Katlyn worked as a Claims Assistant Supervisor at Amtrust North America for over six years where she established a comprehensive understanding of workers’ compensation litigation. After being admitted to the State Bar, she built upon her prior workers’ compensation knowledge by developing a strong foundation for workers’ compensation defense handling.
After spending two years in Chile, South America, teaching English as a Second Language, Katlyn returned to California to pursue her law career. Her favorite aspect of being an attorney is the fast-paced work, coupled with the challenge to stay up to date on the ever-changing laws and constantly ensuring claims move forward.
Katlyn grew up in Orange County, California. In her free time, Katlyn likes to try new restaurants with family and friends, and babysit her twin sister’s dog, Muppet. Her interests also include adding to her plant collection, working out, and reading.
Katlyn’s favorite author is Malcolm Gladwell, and her favorite television show is 30 Rock. She lives by the words, “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” (Maya Angelou)
