Marilyn Moore is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Encino office. She strongly believes in providing relentless and zealous advocacy for her clients. Marilyn places an emphasis on client communication and customized litigation strategies for each claim to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Marilyn began her legal career in labor and employment law, followed by complex wage and hour litigation. Shortly after, she expanded her field of expertise to workers’ compensation. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, Marilyn worked as an employment law and workers’ compensation defense Attorney in southern California. Throughout her career, Marilyn has aggressively advocated for clients, pushed cases to trial, successfully prevailed on Petitions for Reconsideration, and has handled complex issues regarding employment and general and special employer relationships.
Although Marilyn has lived in southern California for over a decade, she considers herself to be a true Texan, having lived for most of her adolescent life in Austin, Texas. She is an avid college football fan and loves to root for her favorite college football team, the Texas A&M Aggies. Marilyn is also a fan of the Florida Gators, Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, and Los Angeles Rams.
In addition to sports, Marilyn enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, wine-tasting, trying out new restaurants, going to the beach, and spending time with her friends and family. When it comes to books, Marilyn is most likely reading non-fictional works and autobiographies. Her favorite inspirational reads are Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
Fun fact: Marilyn and her husband are the only ones in their immediate family who reside in California, with their family members living throughout the United States and Europe.
