She has handled complex workers’ compensation claims and successfully taken cases to trial, resulting in Take Nothing judgments. Monique brings a wealth of knowledge of the law, her opponents, and administrative judges’ rules and procedures.

Monique grew up in South Central Los Angeles, California. Three words to describe Monique are consistent, driven, and loyal. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. An ideal weekend for Monique comprises of wine tasting in Santa Barbara and relaxing at a spa.

When it comes to music, Monique is most likely listening to R&B. If she had to choose one album to take to a deserted island, it would be At Last by Etta James. Number one on her bucket list is a trip to Africa.

If her life had a theme song, it would be the introduction song from The Jeffersons, “Movin On Up!” by Ja’Net DuBois. Monique lives by the phrase, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” Fun fact: Monique completed the 2004 Los Angeles Marathon.
