WCAB Venues Covered:Long Beach, Los Angeles, Marina Del Rey, Santa Ana

Nadine Adrian is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Long Beach office and is a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation. She is also admitted in the Southern and Central Districts of California, the District of Maryland, and the United States Supreme Court. Nadine focuses on client communication and analyzing claims with her clients’ goals in mind to achieve the most effective and favorable outcome.

She began her career as a Civil Litigator, defending claims in the fields of personal injury, products liability, premises liability, elevator/escalator liability, and medical malpractice. Nadine has tried several jury trials to verdict in both State and Federal court. Since 2002, her practice has focused on workers’ compensation defense and the prosecution of subrogation claims. Throughout her workers’ compensation career, Nadine has successfully acquired several Take Nothings. She also authored an appellate brief related to a subrogation claim in a matter certified for publication by the California Court of Appeal.

Nadine grew up in San Diego, California. If Nadine’s life had a theme song, it would be “Up on the Roof” by The Drifters. Her favorite book, Great Day for Up by Dr. Seuss, is a childhood treasure. For Nadine’s family, the book is a lighthearted reminder to seize the day.

In her free time, she enjoys working on DIY home improvement projects, watching NCAA men’s college basketball, and spending time at the beach. Her motto in life is, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.”

If Nadine were to pursue a career other than an attorney, she would be a chef or an owner of a bed and breakfast. Fun fact: Nadine’s daughter is a competitive hula dancer.
