Robert King

Associate Attorney

WCAB Venues Covered:Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa

Robert King is an Associate Attorney in Albert & Mackenzie’s San Francisco office. He is committed to keeping clients informed, approaching each matter thoughtfully, and working toward effective resolutions.

Robert was admitted to the State Bar of California in December 2025 and joined Albert & Mackenzie in February 2026. During law school, he gained experience through an employment law clinic and summer clerkships focused on personal injury and housing law. His interest in workers’ compensation defense stemmed from a passion for understanding and practicing the law in the many ways it interacts with employment.

Robert was born in San Francisco and raised in the East Bay before attending the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned his degree in History. He later moved to Boulder, Colorado, where he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School in 2025.

Travel is one of his greatest passions, and he has lived and studied in France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, while visiting 33 other countries and more than 30 U.S. states outside of California and Colorado. Outside the office, he enjoys hiking, exploring new music and films, reading literature, and studying history.

When asked to name his favorite place in the world, Robert finds it impossible to choose just one. For history, culture, and city life, Rome stands above the rest. For natural beauty, nothing compares to the redwood forests along Northern California’s coast. And if there is one thing he could never do without, it is music, especially Led Zeppelin’s “Over the Hills and Far Away,” a favorite both to listen to and to play on guitar.
