Sara Boessenecker is a Senior Managing Partner in the Sacramento area office. She specializes in the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurers, and third-party administrators, including defense of discrimination claims under Labor Code §132a. Sara’s strengths include exceptional negotiation skills, clear and consistent communication with clients, and expedited resolution of claims.
One of the many accomplishments Sara has acquired in her workers’ compensation career includes overturning an adverse decision on reconsideration twice. Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, she worked at a family law practice where she helped in the representation of clients in child custody and divorce cases.
Sara grew up in northern California. In her spare time, she enjoys watching the San Francisco Giants, shopping, going to the movies, and visiting Lake Tahoe.
Sara’s motto in life is, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” Her favorite novel is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and she is a fan of Marvel films. The best words to describe Sara are logical, approachable, and assertive.
