Shannon Cornay is a Senior Associate Attorney at the Agoura Hills office. Her aggressive file handling focuses on creative solutions and strategies in the litigation process to secure favorable settlements for her clients.
Shannon has extensive experience defending workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. Her experience includes trying cases in Superior Court and the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. Prior to Shannon beginning her practice in workers’ compensation, she defended civil cases including premises liability and products liability. She tried seven jury trials receiving defense verdicts.
Shannon grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. In her spare time, she enjoys watching college football games and watching her son play baseball. Shannon is a fan of the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Shannon’s motto in life is, “There is always a bright side.” Her guilty pleasure music artists are Brittany Spears, Kelly Clarkson, and Taylor Swift. As for Shannon’s favorite food, she enjoys a classic burger with fries or anything sweet.
If there were three words to describe Shannon, it would be loyal, compassionate, and determined. Growing up, she liked to argue and set her sights on pursuing a career as a lawyer.
