Shannon Cornay is a senior associate at the Agoura Hills office. She has extensive experience defending workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurance carriers and third-party administrators. Her experience includes trying cases in Superior Court as well as the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. Her aggressive file handling focuses on creative solutions and strategies in the litigation process to secure favorable settlements for her clients.
Shannon was admitted to the California State Bar in 2003. Prior to beginning her practice in workers’ compensation she defended civil cases including, premises liability and products liability. She tried seven jury trials receiving defense verdicts.
She graduated from Louisiana State University in 1990 where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Shannon also attended Whittier Law School and attained her Juris Doctor in 1993.
