Managing Attorney

WCAB Venues Covered:Eureka, Fresno, Lodi, Marysville, Redding, Sacramento

Harmony Kessler is a Managing Attorney in the Sacramento area office. She is committed to exceeding client expectations and training new attorneys within the firm.

Prior to joining Albert and Mackenzie, Harmony worked as an Associate for a civil litigation firm defending public entities and healthcare organizations in employment matters. She also served as counsel for minors in the dependency system. Before pursuing law school, Harmony was elected to a four-year term on the City Council of Arcata, California, where she served as Mayor in 2006.

Harmony grew up in West Hollywood and East Los Angeles. Her hobbies include making goat cheese and goat milk soap, and growing vegetables on her small farm. Harmony has a farm with livestock consisting of turkeys, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, quail, and a cow. In her spare time, she also enjoys biking, running, doing yoga, and arts & crafts with her children.

If Harmony’s life had a theme song, it would be “They Love Each Other” by Grateful Dead. Her favorite film is the crime comedy, The Big Lebowski. Harmony has several hidden talents, including speaking French, gardening, and baking – specifically, she can craft yeast to make her own sourdough.

Three words to best describe Harmony are friendly, approachable, and excited. Fun fact: Harmony met her husband while participating in a bicycle event called the Kinetic Sculpture Race in Humboldt County. She ran the race for three years when it was threatened to end and saw it through to its 50-year anniversary. Harmony is a founding member of the non-profit organization that saved the Kinetic Sculpture Race – which remains strong today!
