Monique Pride Brooks is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Van Nuys area office. She zealously defends employers, carriers, and third-party administrators in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. Ms. Brooks believes in the importance of client communication and collaboration to obtain the most efficient resolution of a claim.
Prior to joining Albert & Mackenzie, Monique practiced workers’ compensation defense for over 20 years. She has handled complex workers’ compensation claims and successfully taken cases to trial resulting in “take-nothing” judgements. Monique brings a wealth of knowledge of the law, her opponents and administrative judges’ rules and procedures.
Monique was admitted to the State Bar of California in April 1996. She has also been admitted to the State Bar of Illinois since 2008. Monique graduated from HBCU Dillard University in New Orleans, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 1992. She attended Tulane University Law School, earning her Juris Doctor in 1995.
