Allison J. Seghetti is a senior associate attorney in the San Diego area office. She focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, carriers, and third-party administrators. Allison believes in working closely with her clients and/or employer representative to develop and employ thoughtful and aggressive litigation strategies that protect the clients’ best interests while discouraging unfounded claims.
Allison was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2011. At that time, she began working in workers’ compensation defense. She also has experience representing emergency first responders in critical incidents and administrative hearings. Before joining Albert and Mackenzie, Allison worked as a workers’ compensation defense attorney for a mid-size firm, covering all of California. Prior to attending law school and beginning her career as an attorney, Allison worked as a police officer. Her background as a police officer provides her with a unique approach to case handling which has led to many successful resolutions of claims, including “take-nothings” after trial.
Allison graduated cum laude from Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon in 2004, where she majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in the Spanish language. She later obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from Western State University, College of Law in 2010.
